Finishing your wood furniture, requires several different supplies and tools. If you assembling a piece of furniture from a unfinished wood kit, you will need to lightly sand the sand to removed the raised grain. The part will need to be stained shortly after sanded, all excess wood dust must be removed with a tack cloth.
Galaxy Products TC12 Tack Cloth, 12-Pack
The wood stain may raise the grain slightly, you may need to sand the wood again and put on another coat of wood stain.
Minwax Water Based Wood Stain - 1/2 pint/MANY COLORS
The clear coating helps protect the wood furniture from discoloration.
